Time's Property

I need You, with you
You need me, with me
We are “vacation”.

The hour glass is gone
The vessel that holds
Time has floated from shore

Breathtaking landscape
Surrounds us with Love
As we journey here

Minutemen Mirth

The summer breeze finds me

As the sun also shines on my face

The rain concludes the joy!

Bright flowers are here

As the bee pollinates them

One by one, they bloom!

The ocean breeze rolls

Onto the land filled with sand

Filling its shells with salt.

Lasting Forever

The trees fill with leaves

In winter, the leaves lose leaves

An establishment!

Attracting Opposites

Celebrate!
I am humanity
I establish peace
While I make war
Hooray!

MOTHER

As she cradles her newborn

This life that has waited nine months to breathe the outside air

She reminiscences her girlhood years, remembering her girlhood filled with dreams and hopes

Enveloped into the time it took to deliver, Mother now seeks a happy life for this child-- struggling

With the maintenance of his foundation, his home, and his belongings—Mother as a mortal filled with happiness and sorrow—battles for child.

She strives for perfection, imitating the sacrifice her own mother had done for her. Relinquishing stamina and sleep, Mother will narrate her child’s history.

Rolling along the bright shore of Bombay

The waters of the Arabian Sea calls me

There have I spent my time

Amidst the monsoon rains

Caught up in the heat of the day

I collect rocks and pebbles

During Bombay’s continued summer

Walking along the vicinity of a park

I see people exercising...

Practicing Karate, walking, and playing sports

I was playing a sport once as a child here

Running fast with a smile on my face, I

Savor those times.

As I dream of returning to Bombay, India

The Paradise of the world

God Bless America

A Soldier

Fighting to protect his homeland and self

Materializes before my eyes

A red heart, a white birth, and a blue sky

Forms his existence

As he would continue to serve the elders

The ones who dictate the good and dictate the bad

Fighting in Iraq and coming back home alive

Opening the door to my life,

Literally, as I either entered or left a room,

A total stranger happened per chance to be at my service!

Traveling to Europe and Asia,

This international soldier of mine,

He has persevered among his peers

Acknowledging the many ideas that people across continents share and value

Like the military, teamwork is his foundation as an individual

With the will to change, he has the true spirit of an eagle.

He doesn’t stray from those that may be in harm’s way.

Treating everyone as they were all the same.

With a future that is as bright as it is promising, I would want peace and happiness to shine for him

From the four corners of the earth, I would want belonging and unity to always serve him

And to emphasize

We all

Are equal under the sky

Darkness

Darkness
Like a leaf in winter,
Tarnishes my character
As a single light by my window attempts to fill me with hope
As I start my tale

Of

Sorrow of being alone
Grief at the loss of a

All on the edge of my pen
As I write
This tale

I

Shudder at the things I have come to
Mock existence at its truest form

The single light of hope all at once burns out

Utopia

When April showers shower

And May flowers flower

I shall go home

To the hills of Eglomè

Its Green Hills, the Paradise of man

Rolling lazily with Green

Of Glories past

Deck the picturesque landscape

As it Rolls into the clear blue sea

A blue abode of life

Schools of fish

Dart playfully among corals

Its thin, glossy fins sweeping the plants

Gracefully, one can see

The dolphins,

Happily gliding through waters

Of turquoise, here is Eglomè

My home, where the sun

Paints the sky of blue

As summer turns to autumn,

The leaves cascade down to the earth

Two figures rise from these falling leaves

A Dancer in black and a Dancer in white

Finding their way to the center of the woods,

These dancers inscribe their identities into the cold, barren earth

Stepping through the fallen red, yellow, and green leaves

Reaching the center of the woods, they feel a sudden warmth

Vibrant with life, this earth is the opposite of its desolate outskirts

Inviting the dancers to make eye contact,

The ground begins to babble.

As the dancers stamp the ground, their creators become one

As the dancers twirl, their cultures become one

Stretching out their hands to another,

The dancers embrace

As One.
